TAKA+PARTNERS designed the entrance and the spaces of the “100% Hotel Show”, at the Mediterranean Exhibition Center (M.E.C.) of Paiania. The combination of virtual reality and hotel design creates the gateway to one of the biggest events in the hotel industry, which took place on 16-19 November 2018. The space hosts a minimal virtual reality room, and more specifically the interactive space of “Hotel Design Awards”. Parallel to the open exhibition space of the awards participations, sitting rest areas and the hospitality lounge area placed. The movement through the change of alignemnts in the floor, the intense geometry in the masonry’s cladding and the palescencies between the linear lighting channels and the projections in the floor, transfuse flow. The above areas are points of interest at the entrance and exit of the visitors.
